General description of the collection: The Chester A. Dahlen photograph collection consists of an album which contains aerial photos taken by artillery liaison pilots in L19's. They were taken during the latter part of June 1953 during combat and show enemy and friendly positions in the sector of the 23rd Infantry. The latter part of the album contains photos of medal presentations to men of the 23rd Infantry as well as a regimental review on 21 September 1953 in Korea. General Maxwell Taylor was the reviewing dignitary.

Chester A. Dahlen (b. Oct. 4, 1910, Minn.-d. Jan. 4, 2006), U. S. Army officer, graduated from West Point in 1933.
